Our university participated in the electronic symposium entitled (Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance. Ministerial Directives and Aspirations for Advancement, and Effectiveness), which was held by the Presidency of the University of Kufa in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The symposium was held for heads of guidance departments and divisions at public universities and private universities and colleges. The symposium was held at 8:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2025. The professors who Participated in the symposium were:
1. Prof. Dr. Haider Hussein Al-Yaqoubi, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the University of Kufa, as a Chairman.
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamandi, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at the Ministry, as a Lecturer.
The symposium, attended by the head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at our university, Prof. Dr. Ghanim Najeeb Abbas, the psychological counseling and educational guidance divisions, their status and the means to advance them in line with their importance to the university student's career, as well as the most prominent activities and events implemented during the current academic year, in implementation of the central curriculum prepared by the ministry and the universities.
